A: You are responsible for the balance of the lease. You need to make sure your roommate can afford the property on their own. Call the property manager to discuss the process/steps necessary and whether or not the property manager will even allows this.

A: Provide 30 Days Written Notice to the property manager - hand deliver or communicate via email, mail or fax or via ONLINE PORTAL.
